Description
North Country Furniture has closed its doors and will be auctioning off inventory, displays, and equipment. There are no minimums or reserves! There are about 100 new inventory items including Serta mattresses, Ashley and Jackson furniture, Ashley and Daniel lamps, several new pillows, pillow cases, waterbed bladders, and more. The furniture truck is also up for auction. There are new furniture displays including a mattress display and Serta and Symbol signs. There is a selection of used furniture as well including sofas. Again, this is an online only auction. There are no minimums and no reserves. Their lease is up on November 1st and they need to empty the building.

The purpose of this catalog is only for the identification of merchandise. It is our intention to give an accurate description to the best of our knowledge and note any defects we may be aware of. However, the auctioneer makes no guarantee or warranty, expressed or implied, as to the accuracy of the information given on any merchandise found in the catalog. All items: Everything is sold AS IS, WHERE IS. We do not guarantee the value, condition, or authenticity of any item. It is the sole responsibility of you, the buyer, to judge the value, condition, and authenticity of merchandise and bid accordingly. Payment: We accept the following payment types: Cash, Check (we reserve the right to hold merchandise until check clears), or Visa & Master Card. There is an extra 3.5% fee for credit cards. You will need to pay sales tax unless you have a resale tax exemption number (You will need to complete a Wisconsin Certificate of Exemption Form. Blank forms are available at the front desk or can be found online at https://www.revenue.wi.gov/DORForms/s-211f.pdf) or you are buying and shipping the goods out of the state. If you have a declined credit card, we will charge a $20 chase fee, unless you contact us with another form of payment within 24 hours (of decline) on business days. Pickup/Removal: All items must be removed from the premises during designated Pickup Times. If you are unable to pick up during these times, please make arrangements with the auctioneer. There will be a storage fee added after 2 weeks. If you don't pick up the item and don't want it shipped, there will be a fee charged for getting rid of the item in addition to the invoice that you will still have to pay. Shipping: We do offer inhouse shipping for most items. We charge the cost of shipping plus a $5 packaging fee for the first item and a $3 fee for each additional item above the cost of packaging material. If the item is large or needs additional handling, an additional handling fee will be charged. We will also work with your third party shipper or pick up agent (within reason). All items that can be insured will be insured. We are not responsible for any damages that occur during shipping. Please keep in mind that large items can have a large cost for shipping. Payment Terms
Wisconsin Sales tax of 5.5% charged to all Wisconsin bidders (unless a resellers permit is presented). Successful absentee bids will be charged $1 per winning bid. In addition, internet absentee bids will be charged a 10% buyers premium added to the bid. We accept cash, check, or credit card. Credit Cards will be charged an additional 3.5% fee for processing. For any total purchases exceeding $2000.00, we request payment via cashier's check or cash.
The check out for successful absentee bidders is on Monday, October 21st from noon to 5pm at 175 Chestnut St. Phillips, WI 54555. If you are unable to pick up during pick up times, please contact us at 715.339.2097. Items being shipped: We use UPS and USPS for shipping. Some items that are noted as "No Shipping" are not shippable. If you are having the item shipped you will be charged for shipping the item with the cost of shipping plus a $5 packaging fee for the first item and a $3 fee for each additional item above the cost of packaging material. If the item is large or needs additional handling, an additional handling fee will be charged. We do ship in-house for almost all items. We will also work with your third party shipper or pick up agent (within reason). We will charge your credit card on file after 2 business days (M-F) (For a Thursday night auction, your card will be charged on Tuesday) unless you contact us to tell us a) you will pick up and pay on pick up b) you wish to send a check. c) want expedited shipping and are willing to pay the difference.
